DL Chemicals specializes in the development, production, and marketing of a high-quality range of silicones and adhesives for the professional construction market. We are a financially strong, internationally oriented company with a long-standing tradition.

To achieve our growth objectives, we aim to sustainably expand our sales team with an enthusiastic and authentic sales professional for the region of South Portugal.

 

Your role:

  • You represent the company and its products throughout your entire region, achieving sales across the full product range.

  • You apply a well-balanced mix of “hunting” and “farming”.

  • In consultation with clients, you analyse their specific needs and provide suitable solutions along with professional advice.

  • You ensure accurate and transparent follow-up of customers and prospects, and you keep the CRM system up to date: customer information, planning, and daily reporting.

  • You do not aim for “one-off” sales; your professional approach ensures the development of long-term, high-quality customer relationships.

  • You systematically monitor customer satisfaction and take appropriate action when needed.

  • To optimize our customer service, you regularly organize training for customer staff and store managers, and you are responsible for being present at open-door events and advisory sessions at customers’ locations.

  • You contribute to the further optimization of the sales process and report to the Sales Manager.

Who are you?

  • You hold at least a professional bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.

  • Good office knowledge.

  • Good level of written and spoken English.

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant and successful professional experience as a representative/outdoor sales representative in technical or construction-related products.

  • Very good knowledge of B2B sector.

  • You preferably live in your working region.

  • Availability to be away from home at least 30% of the time.

  • You are commercially minded with a good balance of “hunter” competencies.

  • You are a highly driven sales professional who thrives on achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • You are an engaging communicator, a natural negotiator, and strong in closing deals.

  • You are administratively proficient (including CRM).

  • You can work both independently and as part of a team.

  • You possess strong self-organization skills and a sense of responsibility.

  • You have a well-groomed appearance and hold a category B driving licence.
