Preparation of the substructure

  • Use untreated spruce wood (max. 18 % moisture content) or aluminium profiles that are clean and flat.
  • Clean aluminium with Parasilico Cleaner, or prime wooden battens with a thin layer of Hybrid & PU Primer for optimal adhesion

Preparation of the façade panels

  • Clean HPL panels such as Trespa Meteon with Parasilico Cleaner.
  • For fibre cement panels such as Equitone Tectiva: dust the rear side and apply Hybrid & PU Primer on the bonding area

Application of Mirofix tape

  • Apply Mirofix double-sided tape (3.2 mm) vertically and continuously to the prepared substructure.
  • The tape ensures the initial fixation and correct adhesive thickness.

Application of Parabond Panel adhesive

  • Apply a continuous triangular bead (9x9x9 mm) of Parabond Panel about 1 cm from the tape using the V-nozzle.
  • After application, the façade panel must be placed within 10 minutes

Mounting the façade panel

  • Remove the tape’s protective film only just before placing the panel.
  • Carefully position the panel, press it firmly, and leave a joint of at least 10 mm between panels.
  • Avoid installation in rain, fog, or at temperatures below +5 °C or above +30 °C.
