Can I store an opened can of PU foam for a long time?
After using a pipette foam canister, you can simply fold the pipette over and push it down onto the closure piece developed for this purpose. This way, the remaining foam does not come in contact with the air. This method gives you the opportunity to still use the remaining foam a few days or weeks later.
If the can of gun foam is not empty, leave the gun attached to the can. Tighten the adjustment screw properly. Do not discharge the gun! Store the can upright (with the gun on top). To reuse the gun: Shake the can well (hold the gun firmly), carefully remove any cured PU foam from the front of the nozzle using a sharp knife. Loosen the adjustment screw slightly and spray directly, until the gun starts dispensing foam again. The gun is now ready for use.
2K PU foam will start reacting and curing after mixing the two components in the can. It must be used within 20 minutes.
