How long is my product mold resistant?

There is no date to attach to mold resistance of a product because it depends on many factors.

Mold will appear more quickly in dark, damp areas or on a joint that comes into regular contact with food or standing water.

Sanitary silicones contain an anti-fungicide and will inhibit the mould process and thus stay mould-free for longer. However, highly concentrated cleaners will remove the anti-fungicide component from the sealant.
