This new generation of alkoxy-based silicone sealants offer many advantages, which we summarize for you in three important pillars

Low-emission and odourless

Alcoxy-based silicones are MEKO-free and are characterized by very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions. As a result, these types of neutral silicones are considered less harmful to health compared to the oxime types.

Alcoxy sealants are virtually odourless: no disturbing odours such as with acetic silicones, which makes the work a lot more pleasant.

High-quality, high-performance sealants

The new generation of alcoxy silicones cannot be compared in terms of performance with the previous alcoxy sealants. The performance of the new generation of alcoxy silicones is at least on the same level as their oxime-based counterparts.

Also note that this new silicone was completely launched in the new layout. With the clear orange accent color that indicates the category of sealants. This orange color is also reflected in the communication on the shelves, in the catalogue...
In addition, we mainly work with pictograms on the new cartridges, so that it is immediately clear what the strengths of each product are.

The new sealants are also packaged in PCR (post-consumer recycled) cartridges that consist of 100% recycled material.

Today we can already introduce you to six products in the Parasilico AX line for different applications:

  • Parasilico AX Construct T: universal silicone for all connection and movement joints in construction. Also suitable for glazing joints. This is the counterpart of Parasilico AM85-2 T

  • Parasilico AX Standard LMN T: for connection joints and façade joints. This is the counterpart ofParasilico Standard LMN T. 

  • Parasilico AX Sanitary (T): excellently suitable for applications in high-humidity and sanitary areas as well as for cold rooms. This is the counterpart of Parasilico Sanitair N oxime based and Parasilico Sanitair E op acetic silicone. 

  • Parasilico AX Easy Seal T: due to its high viscosity and body, it is particularly easy to tool and finish.

  • Parasilico AX Easy Seal Sanitary T: due to its high viscosity and body, it is particularly easy to tool and finish. Specially developed for sealing in damp areas and for grouting tiles. This is the counterpart of Parasilico Premium T. 

  • Parasilico AX Plastics T: for sealing plastic surfaces, polycarbonate and PMMA. Stress cracking of the plastic is excluded. This sealant replaces Parasilico PL T.
